ISW 2026, partnership wrap
Insulin Safety Week 2026 wrap
GNL and Oranje Juice PR ran a Grace topic shell at /isw-2026-demo/ across the 17-day Insulin Safety Week window. Here are the numbers, the honest read, and what we would change for ISW 2027.
Headline numbers
Soft launch (Fri 1 to Sun 10 May) drove 360 of the 828 views; the public week (Mon 11 to Sat 17 May) added 234. The asymmetry between 828 views and 60 unique IPs says the OJPR distribution brought motivated readers who came back across the week, not single-touch bounces.
Engagement counters (pack generations, Ask Grace questions, PDF and ZIP downloads, per-resource clicks) sit in the GNL Laravel database and Forge access logs; Phillip Hayes is running the aggregate queries and the numbers will be stitched into the full report.

The honest read
Distribution worked. The OJPR channel (DSN Forum, Trend Diabetes) brought motivated readers and they came back across the week; the asymmetry between page views and unique IPs is the sign of return readership, not single-session bounce.
What did not work as well: the public week tailed off mid-week. We had the chip rotation built into the shell but did not use it; we did not give readers a fresh reason to come back after their first session.
What we would change for ISW 2027
- Daily theme cadence. Each day of ISW week gets a Grace-curated theme (Monday prescribing safety, Tuesday AID in hospital, Wednesday hypo prevention, and so on) with a fresh chip set and a daily email back through the OJPR distribution networks. The shell already supports the chip rotation; this is a copy and scheduling lift, not a build.
- Pull, not push, on the Ask Grace bar. Position the Ask Grace input above the fold, not below the chip card, and seed it with three pre-loaded example questions that match the day’s theme. Free Ask Grace is the differentiator; we did not put it forward enough.
- Closing-day artefact. A single A4 “ISW in numbers” PDF served from the page itself, published on the final Saturday with the engagement counters baked in. Costs us nothing and gives the OJPR networks a reason to repost.
Calibration logic. ISW 2026 proved the channel; ISW 2027 should prove the format. The asymmetry between distribution and return engagement is the lever to pull.
