1. About These Terms

These terms and conditions apply to your use of the website theglucoseneverlies.com, the Grace AI education assistant (both the free pages on this website and the registered app), and the GNL Explorer Suite, operated by The Glucose Never Lies Ltd (Company No. 16733595, VAT Registration No. GB 516 3272 08), registered in England and Wales.

By accessing the website, using Grace, or registering for the GNL Explorer Suite, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Educational Purpose, Not Medical Advice

Grace is an AI assistant built on a large language model. Grace answers from a curated evidence base, but AI systems can be wrong, out of date, or incomplete, and can state something incorrect with apparent confidence. Treat Grace as a well-read study partner, never as a clinician, and check anything that matters against the linked evidence or with your diabetes team.

The GNL Explorer Suite models how physiological principles, insulin algorithms, and clinical evidence behave on average. Outputs are educational estimates, they do not reflect how any individual’s body, device, or circumstances will respond.

Any changes to your insulin settings, device configuration, or diabetes management must be made with your diabetes care team. Never change your insulin management based solely on outputs from this website.

3. Age Requirements

Registered accounts (the GNL Grace app and the registered GNL Explorer Suite). These are designed for users aged 18 and over. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. A parent, guardian, or healthcare professional may register and use the app and the explorers on behalf of someone under 18.

The free Grace surface on this website at theglucoseneverlies.com/gnl-grace/. No account is needed. You can use Grace and the educational explorers on that page from age 13. If you are under 13, please use them together with a parent or carer. Some explorers are for adults only and will say so on the explorer itself.

Whatever your age, and on either surface, nothing here replaces your diabetes team; talk anything important through with them (see section 2).

4. Registered Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account with others. GNL reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts where these terms are breached.

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting john@theglucoseneverlies.com.

The free Grace surface at theglucoseneverlies.com/gnl-grace/ needs no account and is currently free of charge. We rate-limit it to keep abuse and running costs under control, so heavy or automated use may be slowed or blocked. You must not scrape it, resell access to it, or attempt to extract its underlying prompts, evidence base, or algorithms. If we introduce charges for any part of the service in future, the terms and prices will be published before they take effect, and use of a free surface will never be charged for retrospectively.

Where a guide page ends with a quiz, a passing score generates a certificate of completion. That certificate records that you completed our educational material. It is not an accredited or regulated qualification and confers no professional status.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including articles, explorer algorithms, podcast content, and the GNL Explorer Suite, is the intellectual property of The Glucose Never Lies Limited, protected by copyright and by UK trade marks: The Glucose Never Lies® (UK Registered Trade Mark UK00004267795), GNL Educational Explorer™ (UK00004360249, accepted for publication), and GNL GRACE™ (UK00004370619, filed 9 April 2026).

You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial educational use is permitted with attribution.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Glucose Never Lies Ltd accepts no liability for:

• Any clinical outcome or harm arising from use of Grace, the GNL Explorer Suite, or any content on this website
• Any decision made based on explorer outputs or Grace’s answers without clinical oversight
• Interruptions to service, technical errors, or inaccuracies in educational content

Neither Grace nor the GNL Explorer Suite is a medical device, and neither is regulated as one. They do not replace clinical assessment, individual medical advice, or personalised care.

7. Third-Party Links

This website contains links to third-party websites (including clinical guidelines, published research, and device manufacturers). We do not control or endorse the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last reviewed. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Commercial Services and VAT

Where GNL provides commercial services (consultancy, educational grants, research collaboration, white-label tools, or bespoke engagements), fees are agreed in a separate Letter of Engagement or grant agreement prior to commencement. All commercial fees are quoted exclusive of VAT.

The Glucose Never Lies Ltd is registered for Value Added Tax with effect from 1 April 2026. VAT Registration Number: GB 516 3272 08. VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%) is added to all commercial invoices where applicable. Invoices are payable within 45 days of the invoice date (unless otherwise agreed in writing). This clause does not apply to the use of free, publicly-accessible content on this website, which remains free of charge.
